Abstract: Nowadays, some super tall structures have become the label of modern cities. More and more supertall buildings are being designed and constructed. The safety of supertall building has already become a hot issue. The entire environmental factor: temperature, earthquake, the wind will cause deflection of a structure. This passage will present the method to combine acceleration and GPS data to monitor the deformation of the super tall building. The data fusion through Kalman filtering algorithm will be used to minimize the error of two methods. The acceleration derived displacement and GPS data are being put into a Kalman filtering code, and the output is the fusion displacement in time domain. The proposed method is going to analyze the cantilever beam model and the real super tall structure of Canton Tower.
