Abstract: CFD as one of the most currently remarkable research methods, has achieved great success in many applications such as wind environment, pollutant dispersion and aviation simulation. At the same time, with the improvement of the residential area environmental requirements, the wind comfort and wind safety of the living area have also received attention. However, there exists an aperture of understanding the relationship between the hospital and surrounding wind environment. This work aims to simulate the wind filed around the hospital by highlight the diffusion of formaldehyde from the hospital pathology room under the natural wind field. This study used Space Claim to build the model, Mesh to analyze the grid, Fluent to control the solution. Low-speed turbulence and k-e model was introduced. According to the obtained wind speed and pressure and pollutant diffusion picture. The special function of the hospital makes it different from other buildings in the process of site selection, design, construction, air conditioning design and assembly. The wind environment around the building has an important influence on the environmental design of the hospital. Analysis of the route of outdoor air flow in hospital buildings is essential to achieve environmental sanitation. The quality of outdoor ventilation affects whether the pollutants inside the courtyard can be discharged and diluted in time and the safe of near residents. A list of future topics is finally given with clear justification.
