Factors affecting the adoption of smart agriculture : a model and empirical analysisen_US
In this thesis, the influencing factors of smart agriculture adoption in China are analyzed. The author proposes a research framework based on the technology-organization-environment (TOE) theory to theoretically investigate the factors affecting the adoption of smart agriculture. Moreover, the author exploits micro-level data from China to provide empirical evidence supporting the theoretical analyses, which helps to better understand the development of the adoption of smart agriculture in China. In particular, the author integrates constructs, like government support and social networks playing a specific role in the context of Chinese agriculture, into the TOE framework to further explore their impacts on the adoption of smart agriculture.en_US
