dcterms.abstractIn the fast moving business environment, much of the competitiveness of a company lies in its persistent and continuous pursuing of change and improvement on its activities, as well as the ways of doing business. Using case study, we identified different challenges or new requirements that are faced by most of the companies. By focusing on the principles and core value of the analysed company in pursuing for the highest customer satisfaction, and on its process of options selection, we have a glimpse of how a successful petrochemical company has led its way against vigorous competition and sustain its advantages through effective leadership and strategic planning. Moreover, an appropriate kind of management process has been induced which not only ensures a successful management of change program, but is capable of anticipating any necessity of future change and development.en_US
