Abstract: There were around 204 million people born from 1980 to 1989, which means since 2002, there are 204 million young people starting their career. For the Chinese Hospitality Industry hired a lot of young people, so there are a lot of "born after 1980" employees working in this field, and the perception is expected to be larger and larger. The most obvious problem with those staff born after 1980 is the higher turnover ratio. Staff Satisfaction is a very important guideline to reflect employees' mentality, leaving intention and Human Resources management level. Since Dr. Hoppock presented the new concept "Employee Satisfaction", many professionals have worked hard in this field and got many splendid findings, they also generated kinds of Employee Satisfaction Survey tools and modules. Nowadays, Employee Satisfaction Survey turns to be a more important part in management, and more than 75% of large companies carry out it every two years. This thesis made a satisfaction survey of the staff born after 1980 working in the luxury Hotel A in Hangzhou to find out whether they are satisfied or not, the most concerned factors, the most dissatisfaction factors, what affecting the satisfaction degree. And put forward some measures to improve staff satisfaction.
