Abstract: In the semi-conductor industry, the leadframes are commonly used at the back end of production line. Many mechanisms are designed to transport the leadframes between different processes such as laser mark, dejunk final test and trim/form. This project is to modify a leadframe transportation mechanism with closed-loop feedback control system to improve the productivity, reliability and repeatability with minimum human intervention. This mechanism is a part of a TOL (Test-On-Leadframe) test handler that is used to transport the leadframes in the final test process.
