Abstract: ISO 9000 series was very common in manufacturing industry. Companies obtaining a certificate of ISO, intended to do business in international market and to maintain its competitive advantage. It was claimed that the implementation of ISO quality system benefited companies in the aspects of increasing productivity and efficiency; reducing scrap / rework and etc. In service industry, such as insurance, education, hospital and banking are also keen on obtaining ISO certificate. The property management service is no exception. Many property management companies implemented ISO 9000 quality system and obtained ISO 9002 -1994 certificate, to demonstrate its commitment to quality of service. Some property management practitioners commented that the ISO 9002-1994 benefited their organization in the areas of increasing productivity; enhancing internal communication; raising competitive advantage and etc. But some practitioners criticized that the ISO system gave them drawbacks in the areas of high cost, increasing paper work and etc. This was the purpose of this project going to identify the pros and cons of implementation of ISO 9000 in property management companies were, and what the ISO 9000 brought to them. Whether the ISO 9000 would enhance contributions to property management companies.
