| dcterms.abstract | In modem supply chain management model, time is always a crucial factor in any supply chain network design. Speeding up cargo movement within the supply chain network is a goal that all the business owners want to attain. Higher turnover rate implies cargoes stay a shorter time in the supply chain framework, which saves inventory's holding cost and increases the business's profit margin directly. In this research, an in-depth study on the warehouse operations performance has been carried out. This study aims to identify factors affecting the holistic warehouse operations process, and the degree these factors influence the warehouse operations performance. The multiple regression model has been applied to find out the answer. Finally, the following three factors, timeliness of truck arrival, attitude towards information sharing and pre-receiving cargo information have been proven to cause significant and predominant influence to warehouse operations performance. | en_US |
