dcterms.abstractThis case study intends to develop a structure for a trade financing department by observing different factors which are critical to the effectiveness of the organization. It was found that the needs of the change is initiated by various internal and external factors. These factors cause problems to the competitiveness of the organization and therefore, lead to the senior management decision for change. Planning of the change is not an easy task; it needs consider the internal environment as well as external environments. A detailed planning is helpful to the future development of the new structure. By applying different theoretical framework and support with an intensive research, the planning of the change can be well designed. To be a limitation of this study, the research covers only the planning of the change, whereas the evaluation of the change will be another task which will be done 3 months to 6 months after the change has been fully implemented. With a detailed planning as well as the full support of the senior management, the change of the structure has a good chance to success.en_US
