Abstract: The real estate industry has developed very rapidly in Hong Kong. As the rising value of the lots, the disputes about the lots ownership become more and more. DD Sheet is the legal boundaries in Hong Kong. The establishment of the old schedule boundaries on DD Sheet is the key to determine the lots ownership. The objective of the dissertation is to establish two lots boundaries on DD Sheet. There were no known grids for DD sheets or a territorial control network now. It is a long time since Demarcation District Survey was carried out. For some area it is hardly to find out the features that have existed for more than 100 years. The features in New Territories remained unchanged till early 1960s. The New Town and real estate developments started in the 1960s gradually gave landscape and use changes to the area. From the investigation and interpretation of the aerial photographs before 1980s, on the aerial photograph there still exist some old lot houses that were recorded on the DD Sheet. Thus, with the rectified old aerial photographs the georeferenced DD Sheet can be generated. And the georefeenced DD Sheet can provide relatively accurate positions. An integrated method is shown in this dissertation. For the similar case this method for processing is feasible.
