| Abstract: | 中小企業是一個經濟體系的基礎，它的成長更與整個經濟體系的發展有著密切關係。本研究希望將澳門中小企業的成長策略與一般成長理論比較，尋找最能反映澳門情況的成長理論，使澳門企業可掌握成長的一般規律。通過成長理論，外部環境來說，企業可了解周遭變化對他們未來成長影響。內部環境來說，企業更可預知未來那方面需要更多資源才可推動成長。本研究將主要探討小規模經濟體系內中小企業在不同成長階段，面對的問題及所採用的成長策略是否如一般成長理論所描述的一致，以及小規模經濟體系和一般經濟體系的企業成長有何不同？ 本研究採用定性研究方法，訪問澳門四個處於生命週期不同階段及不同行業的澳門中小企業，了解他們現時所面對的問題以及採取的策略，再而與成長理論比較，驗證所採取的策略。研究結果顯示小規模經濟體系內中小企業成長階段都是由創業、成長、成熟以至衰退。小規模經濟體系內成功的中小企業在不同成長階段的特徵，所面對的問題及策略選擇往往符合近年中國國內成長理論。 企業者個性、組織管理及外部環境三個因素主宰細小經濟體系企業的成長。三個成長因素中，企業者個性最為關鍵而組織管理則影響最小，而行業環境對企業的成長亦有一定的影響。其中企業者個性如求變、掌握機會、具策略性和開創性更能將企業與一些不成長的企業分辨出來。小規模經濟體系下，企業的成長和一般經濟體系有所分別。小規模經濟體系的中小企業，無論在生命周期的任何階段，企業者都擔當非常重要的角色，能夠成長的企業都是創意型企業。 |
