Abstract: Since the outburst of the electronic revolution on the business market, the demand for e-knowledge from MBA graduates seemed to have increased dramatically. In this study, I will explore what the scope and depth of e-knowledge for the graduates are in the Hong Kong's financial services industry-namely banking and brokerage. Web sites are evaluated on the capacity of firms leveraging e-Business in their operations via a survey of 15 participants and investigation on web sites. Best practices and recommendations are identified from the study and are used for discussions in interviews with responsible personnel of selected banking and brokerage firms for their feedbacks and comments on the application practicality. The final conclusion for the e-knowledge requirement is drawn based on the valuable and insightful opinions expressed by the interviewees and the results from my research on the topic.
