Quality Systems depends upon everyone's participation. This dissertation investigates the impact of QMS on the workforce within the Organization of the Main Contractor, analyses human behaviours in response to the introduction of the QMS, how the QMS fits into the existing culture, the barriers to QMS development, management commitment, and training and education requirement. It also investigates into professional people's view and acceptance of a quality system. This study is prepared in an attempt to assist the management in reviewing the existing structure and system, improve human resources management, identify training needs, and develop strategies for the continuous improvement of quality.
