Abstract: In order to help decision maker improve the efficiency and correctness in decision making, Decision Support System (DSS) proposed since 1970. Along the development of DSS, researchers realize the decision making in reality is not just individual decision-making but group decision-making. Therefore, based on the theory of DSS, the concept of Group Decision Supporting System (GDSS) is proposed and gets further development. In reality, however, many decision-making problems (such as great strategic decision of government or industry, the managing decision of great company), have very complex structure inside and need be made decision by a large decision group with complex relationship of people inside. Based on a large number of literature review and previous research studies, this report tries to propose a new group decision-making process and a corresponding decision supporting system platform. Firstly, this dissertation proposed the task decomposition stage and group selection stage in group decision-making process to reduce the complexity derived from complex large decision group and complex decision-task. Based on a new property analysis, we decomposed task. Besides, this report proposes a Double selection mathematical model to construct the suitable decision group. At last, we validate these methods and model via specific case. Secondly, this dissertation divided the group decision-making into individual decision process and group decision process. On the one hand, we introduce the Ideal Point algorithm to solve group decision problem. On other hand, we establish 3 kinds of mathematical models and optimize them by verification of testing case respectively. And apply whole decision making process into real case of 360 degree performance appraisal. Thirdly, this dissertation proposed designs of the workshop system as a sub-system of the whole system platform (GDSP). Based on research of metasynthesis methodology, we design the group argumentation process. And design basic function models to realize this process to support group metasynthesis discussion. Fourthly, via summary previous process stages above, this report formed a overall complex large group decision-making process. Besides, this report formed the GDSP system hierarchical structure, and basic system framework. And then, we designed partial system process in several key process stages. Finally, this report summarizes the real application of GDSP in every stage above mentioned. Based on implementation and experiment of GDSP in real case, we analyze and evaluate the comparative advantages in two dimensions.
