dcterms.abstractIn the past, not many researches were done on logistics and only few of them were even mentioned express package delivery. Some researches, however, focused on logistics workflow, information technology usage or quality system problem. In this research project, feasibility study of RFID technology in express package delivery is examined and discussed. Further, implementation measurement of RFID and related consideration issues are also reviewed. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is a hot topic in logistics world. Express package industry has also begun the studies in few years ago. However, RFID technology is not new technology in the world, During World War II, the important of RFID was realized. In the business sector, organizations are also realized the important of RFID. RFID is viewed as self-awareness of attachment with superior information storage capability. Throughout the labelling industry, RFID technology is playing an important role in enhancing service quality, better asset management and achieving business better performances.en_US
