Abstract: To meet the needs of the high data precision and spatial data infrastructure construction, a number of networks of continuously operating GNSS stations are being constructed by different agencies, which form the Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) system. Shenzhen Continuously Operating Reference Stations (SZCORS) as the first built one in China has already successfully operating about ten years and providing the users with high precise data for varieties applications. After repeated discussions and negotiations, the Shenzhen government decided to broaden the coverage and application area of SZCORS by means of integrating Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau CORS (MBCORS) network together, aiming to form a new integrated SZCORS system. One of the main applications for the new integrated SZCORS system is meteorological use, especially for water vapor observations, which is highly related to zenith troposphere delay (ZTD). After talked about the realization of the new SZCORS network, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the accuracy and adaptability of different C models for modeling the troposphere delay in Asia scale, in order to find a better one for regional SZCORS network and for the further calculation of ZTD and water vapor. With the test on analyzing an Asia regional network of 10 International GPS Services (IGS) stations by software package GAMIT 10.3, it showed that Global Mapping Function (GMF) can provides better precision of ZTD values than Niell Mapping Function (NMF) when elevation angle down to 10⁰, and also smaller positioning biases. Another test focus on the relationship between the ZTD values of SZCORS and the number of IGS stations selected into the calculation. And reveal that the number of external IGS stations involved make no difference on the calculation of ZTD for regional CORS network. Two external IGS stations involved into the calculation can get better results as well.
