dcterms.abstractThe rapid development of the IT technology based Internet has posted a large impact on different types of industries. As a service industry, hotels are facing more and more marketing challenges. Also, more international chain hotels have been to Shanghai. These hotels bring not only new management, but also new hotel reservation systems. This study aims at analyzing the application of Shanghai hotels Central Reservation System and then draw a conclusion on the function model of Hotel CRS. The findings of the study indicate that most hoteliers are not building hotel CRS. At the same time, we find that the key reason that hotels have not their Central Reservation System is just the hoteliers do not understand the concept of Central Reservation System. In addtion, the study find out the motivation of hoteliers with CRS and key functitons of CRS through factor analysis and ANOVA etc. The report concludes with recommendations to hoteliers who should implement CRS as soon as possible.en_US
