| Abstract: | This project investigates by means of questionnaires, focus group observation and individual interviews, the code switching language feature of overseas returning Hong Kong people. The first part of the report will look at the literature relating to the language status, code switching and attitudes of accent. By reviewing previous works that have been done by many scholars and researchers, there is an indication of showing a research gap and a need of looking at it. The second part of the report will present the findings and analysis towards their code switching. |
