The mediating effect of controllability attributional style between abusive supervision and the selected work outcomesen_US
Drawing on the reformulated theory of learned helplessness, attribution theory and abusive supervision, this study investigates the mediating effects of subordinates' controllability attributional style between abusive supervision and the impacts on work outcomes (job satisfaction, affective organizational commitment, and job engagement). Using data collected from 181 participants, I found that controllability attributional style partially mediated the negative effects of abusive supervision on job satisfaction and affective organizational commitment.en_US
