Abstract: In this research, it develops according to three objectives, that is, to assess individual's English pronunciation, to analyze the factors affecting individual's English pronunciation and to explore the strategies that might improve individual's English pronunciation. Methodology penetrates through the processes of sampling, data collecting and data analysis. Firstly, it employs simple random sampling, which means that everyone in the population has an equal chance of being sampled. Next, as for data collection, documents, interviews and questionnaires are used. Last but not the least, regarding data analysis, it is mainly qualitative method. Centering around the objectives, it finds the problems existing in the participant's pronunciation; also, it analyzes five main factors resulting in the participant's problems, that is age, mother tongue, instruction, motivation and exposure to target language; last but not the least, based on factor analysis, it put forward strategies of improving English pronunciation. It can be pointed out that enough evidence has been found that justifies a large-scale study especially on word-final /t/ which have some varieties of pronunciation produced by many people.
