dc.title | Eco-particleboard production from construction wood waste | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | This dissertation aims at researching the method to improve flame resistance of eco-particleboard which has been developed since before and how addictive respectively influences the board's initial strength resistance and hydro resistance. Eco-particleboard from wood waste has an obvious shortcoming, which is flammability resulting from wood material itself. To solve the problem we have to add some kinds of fire retardants which were found to perform well and then test whether they are respectively applicable for the particleboard and whether they respectively influence initial functions. After all, most of fire retardants are soluble which may decrease board's particle hydro resistance. This dissertation consists of 6 main chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the research background and relative papers, which analyses the trend of using timber. Chapter 2 is to introduce the latest literature review. Chapter 3 tells the readers what material and methodology would be required in this dissertation. Chapter 4 would be the procedure of the experiment and recorded data during procedure. Chapter 5 is the result of different tests and comparison among different samples and between two strength tests respectively. Chapter 6 is the conclusion to headline the outcome of this dissertation. Besides, appendix which could help us figure out the standards of fire resistance on building materials and reference were added at the end of it. Therefore, this dissertation does not only focus on improvement of fire resistance caused by fire retardant, but also pay attention to its adverse influence on other functions of particleboard, which means the total comprehensive behaviour would be taken into account much more importantly than one single behaviour. | en_US |
