Abstract: | This paper analyzes the development of the blockchain and introduces the core technology of the blockchain. The application prospects of blockchain in various fields are analyzed in different categories. The medical industry which can be used as a typical application was selected, and the current status of electronic medical records in the medical industry was analyzed. Case study was conducted with MedRec as an example. This paper proposes a method for applying blockchain to electronic medical records and combines the blockchain technology to design the electronic medical records for the blockchain medical platform. The blockchain has broad application prospects in the medical industry and will be used more and more. |
