Abstract: This study will propose a model of concrete wall of Nuclear Containment Structure to simulate the effect of mechanical response and heat transfer process on the concrete in case of aircraft crash. Based on the fire behavior and the properties of concrete, the study will calculate the pressure generated inside the concrete and estimate the ability of concrete to withstand the damage by the high temperature whether concrete spalling occurs or not. The fire behavior and the data collected from this study are significant to make suggestion in future improvements on the strength of concrete used in Nuclear Containment Structures in order to prevent from leakage of radioactive substances which are harmful to natural environment.
