Abstract: | In China, there are no collective heating systems in many parts of the south areas. However, with the change of climate in recent years, extreme wet and cold weather has also occurred in the South. Some people such as the elderly and children, and even some women and other frail people often take independent heating measures in this environment. The independent heating sources they use tend to consume a lot of energy. However, there is no large amount of research to help them use independent heat sources more efficiently and reduce energy consumption. This paper will propose some advice to people who need individual heating in typical residential buildings in south China during wet and cold climate by simulative studies. The method of simulation is a combination of Revit Architecture and Ecotect Analysis. Hong Kong is the research target city. In this study, thermal environment analysis of Hong Kong residential tower building is simulated, and The simulated energy consumption results are obtained. Some suggestions on the use of energy for independent heating devices are given to those who have independent heating needs in extreme wet-cold weather in the south. |
