Abstract: | As a newly technology, oblique photogrammetry has become an effective tool for producing 3D data for various applications, including city and tourism information capturing, urban planning, architecture, disaster management, environmental simulations, facility management, vehicle and pedestrian navigation. This paper is trying to verify the precision of oblique photogrammetry and explore how to improve oblique photogrammetry precision and model quality and efficiency. And Hong Kong was selected as an example in research region investigation, to verify that the oblique photogrammetry can provide suitable applications according to different urban features. Several experiments were conduct to realize the purpose of this paper. Some evaluations and comparisons of data collection instrument and data processing software are also made in this paper. And some analysis of prospect of oblique photogrammetry is discussed. |
