Portable spectrometer based on transmission grating systemen_US
In recent years, portable devices play an important role in every aspect of our lives. Combining portable devices with spectrometers can effectively complete the spectral image collection and analysis functions. With the characteristics of easy to carry, long battery life, high pixel resolution of the lens, and powerful processor performance, it has a very broad development space and research significance [1]. This thesis analyzes and researches the classification, principle, structure, and composition of the spectrometer, then proposes a portable visible light spectrometer design with a transmission grating as the dispersive element, and displays its experimental results. The thesis mainly includes: Introduction of the history and background of the spectrometer, and a detailed discussion of the working principles and design schemes of different types of spectrometers; demonstration of the feasibility of combining portable device and spectroscopic optical paths to construct a spectrum analysis system; and final discussion of the design model and analysis the results. A kind of visible light spectrometer with transmission grating as a dispersive element is designed. The optical path system is designed by ZEMAX and be placed in a black box with a volume of 75 mm*50 mm*50 mm. Its working spectral range is 400 nm-700 nm and the theoretical resolution is 10 nm. We just fixed the optical path system at the camera position and acquired the spectral image, then use software to do the data processing and calculation, finally generate the spectrum of the visible light source. The transmission grating visible light spectrometer investigated in this thesis has the characteristics of small size, simple structure, convenient operation, and very broad application prospects.en_US
