A study of blockchain from a network science perspectiveen_US
A research of blockchain from the network perspective is conducted to improve the understanding of blockchain technology. With introducing the current development of blockchain technology, this system shows the advantages of centralization, anonymity, auditability, privacy, etc. However, this work finds that as a new technology, blockchain still needs to be improved, in order to be applied better in various fields. This work also finds that some network theory can be introduced to explain and analyze the different characteristics of blockchain, especially the complex network systems. Combining with the corresponding complex network knowledge, it could reach a deeper understanding of blockchain. Based on the network study, the simulation is conducted to study the impact of various parameters on the blockchain network, and propose improvement proposals to achieve a better network performance. Moreover, this work also put forward to a tracing technology based on blockchain in the case of network attacks.en_US
