dc.title | Smart IoT with application to transportation and healthcare | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | The Internet of Things (IoT) embedded a network consisting of physical objects capable of gathering and sharing electronic information. The Internet of Things (IoT) includes a wide variety of "smart" devices: a huge wireless sensor network and with a wide range of application sensors emerging rapidly in daily life. In this thesis, we focus on the research of the wireless sensor network technology applied in IoT, especially through capturing pictures from optical sensors and loading the intelligence algorithm which resolve the recognition problem in Chinese character mixed letters and numbers in different traditional parking lots. Due to the humidity, temperature and biochemical sensors fixed in smart masks, they can resist the PM2.5 pollution even COVID-19 antigen test. In this thesis, we focus on two smart applications of IoT: transportation and healthcare. We use various sensors to provide new experience on potential applications. We accomplished parking and paying through the collection of data regarding availability of free spaces and user tracking from the smart system, by just using one QR code. Additionally, the fixed sensor settings, serial port settings, communication settings and other functional modules provide test data for the smart mask. The output of the project cases can fulfill air quality testing and PM 2.5 filtering. Furthermore, we hope the application and research will then contribute to the prevention and control of infectious diseases. | en_US |
