Abstract: With the wide application of information and communication technology in the distribution network, the distribution network's information physical coupling degree is gradually deepened. The cyber-physical system also arises at the right moment under this condition. And phasor measurement unit (PMU) is an essential part of the physical information system to complete the work safely and accurately. The synchronous phasor measurement unit is based on the precise time transmitted by the global positioning system, collecting real-time data in the power system and completing each node's synchronous measurement. This paper introduces the main functions of PMU, summarizes the problems that PMU may encounter in data processing, lists the treatment methods of PMU data problems, and discusses the application of PMU in cyber-physical power system. At the same time, the semi-physical simulation based on pmu is designed, and the advantages of design are presented after the comparison of software simulation. Finally, the thesis is summarized, and the direction of future work is put forward.
