Abstract: China's small and medium-sized travel agents are facing very difficult time with the pressure from large-scale domestic travel agents and the pressure of China's entry to WTO. So there is an urgent need to research in the field. This research focuses on China's small and medium-sized travel agents and tries to analyze the major factors affecting the future development of small and medium-sized travel agents in China. Through studying and investigating the developing history and the current operating condition of those travel agents, it analyzes China's small and medium-sized travel agents' operating condition and main factors affecting the survival and development of China's small and medium-sized travel agents, which is a pressing problem facing China's travel agents industry under the circumstances of serious competition and the entry into WTO.
