| Abstract: | 斯蒂格利茨说，"中国的城市化和以美国新技术为首的革命将成为影响人类21 世纪的两件大事。" 200 多年以来，城市的繁荣与发展一直是城市的标准模式。但是，到 20 世纪五、六十年代，在世界上的许多国家都出现了城市经济衰退、人口持续流出的 "城市收缩" 现象。该现象不仅存在于西方发达国家，在 20 世纪 90 年代以后，包括我国在内的发展中国家也开始出现了相似的问题。城市收缩如何对经济、社会带来影响，是一个急待研究的课题。 本文研究城市收缩如何影响企业的风险承受能力，以及地方制度环境所起的作用。通过对城市收缩、制度和企业决策数据的计量回归分析，本文主要实证结果发现：（1）出现收缩的城市企业风险承担水平整体显著低于未出现收缩城市的企业风险承担水平；（2）制度环境显著影响企业的风险承担水平，高质量的制度环境有助于提升企业的风险承担水平。进一步将制度因素分类为产权制度和契约制度两种类型，发现产权制度和契约制度环境较好的地区，其企业的风险承担水平整体高于产权制度和契约制度环境较差的地区； （3）不同城市规模应对城市衰退影响的能力不同。在发生 "城市收缩" 时候，对大型城市中的企业风险承担水平产生更大的冲击。 本文研究的实证结果可以帮助理解城市收缩如何影响企业风险承担，从而对地区的经济社会发展产生影响。一个重要的启示是，通过制度完善可以改变城市收缩对企业风险承担的影响，从而最终促进地区经济社会的协调发展。 |
