Active noise cancellation headset designen_US
Headsets with active noise cancellation (ANC) feature are having larger market share in recent years. These headsets provide the solution to reduce disturbing, stressful, or even harmful noise. In this study, the integrated feedforward ANC headset solutions provided by Qualcomm and Airoha are adopted and evaluated. Besides, a feedforward ANC headset solution with a microcontroller unit development board is developed, and the effect is tested. Furthermore, ANC using a fixed filter and an adaptive filter with the Filtered-X Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm are implemented with the Speedgoat target machine and the effects are compared. We will show that the ANC performance with adaptive filter is better than that with fixed filter.en_US
