Abstract: This study is about functional effectiveness of performance appraisal in zhejiang grand Hotel. Performance appraisal is difficult for HR management, it comprises programming, salary management, maintaining relationship of inter employee and prompting. This study chose zhejiang grand hotel for examination. It based on interview of senior management and 100 questionnaires of staff. When the research referred to some materials from theory for reference, it always encircled 4 aspects as follows, basic situation, putting in practice, utilizing and existing problem. This study has searched some issues possess universality and peculiar character, depending on the theory and method of research, analyzing the cause of generate, so the performance appraisal can not promote performance at Zhejiang Grand Hotel are caused by HR management is not so systemic, the effect of performance appraisal is not so regularly. This study aims to find method for performance appraisal in Zhejiang Grand Hotel and puts forward some suggestions to improve performance appraisal in Zhejiang Grand Hotel, make the progress at performance appraisal. Need to indicate that this study just uses a simple data analysis method.
