dcterms.abstractThe quality of the indoor environment is a key factor in people's concentration and productivity. Among the many places where students study, the self-study area is one of the most representative places. In a self-study environment, changes in the quality of the indoor environment can have an impact on students' concentration. For this reason, improving the quality of the self-study area's environment and better serving students under limited conditions is an issue worth pursuing.en_US
dcterms.abstractThis research analyses and discusses the effects of different aspects of IEQ on students' concentration and the factors that may affect IEQ satisfaction through a questionnaire survey of students in different self-study areas and finds the following conclusions: 1. The four aspects of IEQ are significantly related to study concentration. 2. Different demographic variables and different physical environments have significant effects on respondents' satisfaction with IEQ.en_US
dcterms.abstractBased on these findings, reliable recommendations can be made to improve the environment of the study area in order to increase students' concentration and productivity in their studies. For example, aspects such as lighting, air quality, temperature and noise control in the study area can be optimized to improve the quality of the indoor environment and enhance student satisfaction and learning outcomes. In addition, different environmental optimization programmes can be developed to better serve students according to their needs.en_US
