Abstract: With the increasing complexity of power systems, the requirements for power system stability are becoming more and more important, which places higher demands on the numerical simulation of power systems.
However, the numerical method based on Monte Carlo Simulation is currently used in this field to obtain the deterministic small signal stability for each sample. However, the current numerical method based on Monte Carlo Simulation in this field requires a complete operation starting from the power flow for each sample, which is too repetitive.
In this paper, we propose a method for probabilistic analysis of small signal stability by using Multi-Dimensional Holomorphic Embedding Method(MDHEM) to obtain the Multivariable Power Series, which is a method that combines all the initial values of the deterministic small signal stability. This paper proposes a method to perform a probabilistic analysis of small signal stability using MDHEM by transcribing all the initial values used for deterministic small signal stability into the form of a power series to improve efficiency.
This dissertation proposes a method of probabilistic analysis that is fundamentally unchanged from the most traditional numerical method, so its accuracy can be theoretically guaranteed.
