| dc.title | Highly efficient and linear Class-J power amplifier for broadcasting system | en_US |
| dcterms.abstract | This paper described a broadband Class-J power amplifier (PA) with a negative feedback network (NFN), covering 1000 MHz to 2600 MHz. With the help of impedance of the feedback network (Zfb) generated by NFN, the bandwidth of the proposed PA was extended significantly but not at the expense of gain and efficiency. This design included a series RLC circuit connecting the drain and the gate of the Gallium nitride high-electron-mobility transistor (GaN HEMT), which is CG2H40010F (MACOM). The measured results showed the proposed PA having a fractional bandwidth of 89%, output power from 39 dBm to 42dBm, and drain efficiency (DE) from 55% to 72.8%. | en_US |
