| Abstract: | The installation of fast electric vehicle (EV) charging devices can significantly impact the power system of existing industrial buildings. The increased load from these new charging devices may cause the existing power supply system to either crumble or become disturbed. In order to mitigate this issue, smart grids can be utilized to manage the power supply system and reduce instability. This project aims to simulate the actual power system of an industrial building by using several methods: power calculation method, voltage drop calculation method, and cable size calculation method. These calculation simulations are expected to determine the impact of fast charging devices and the effectiveness of smart grids in enhancing the stability and reliability of the existing power system. |
