Abstract: This paper will propose a novel workflow aimed at improving the efficiency of Multi-trade Integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MiMEP) model and drawing generation by leveraging automated Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. By utilizing Dynamo for Autodesk Revit, the proposed approach will seek to minimize manual input and streamline the conversion of BIM models into MiMEP models and drawings for off-site construction. The development of specialized algorithms may facilitate this process, enhancing productivity while reducing the likelihood of errors. Furthermore, the study will assess the modelling time and accuracy achieved through these algorithms. To validate the proposed workflow, a case study will be conducted, employing two different approaches for comprehensive evaluation. It is expected that it would enhance the working process of doing MiMEP.
