| Abstract: | Electric vehicles are less noisy, less greasy and more environmentally friendly than traditional fuel vehicles. At present, the main electric engines include DC motors, asynchronous motors, permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM), etc., of which PMSM have the advantages of high efficiency, as well as extraordinary high power factor. If the permanent magnet motors and frequency converters and differentials are packaged together to realize the integration of electrical systems, the output efficiency of the system for driving motor of household vehicles can be further improved. In this thesis, the electromagnetic design of PMSM for household electric vehicles is studied. This thesis takes the 75kW level PMSM as the main design goal. Based on the typical load characteristics of household electric vehicles and considering the characteristics of integrated structural design, the main electrical technical parameters of the PMSM are designed in detail, including the main dimensions of the motor, permanent magnet materials and specifications, stator and rotor cogging calculations, stator winding specification selection, magnetic circuit calculations, resistance, leakage reactance and other parameter calculations, etc., and use Matlab programming to realize the iterative process of motor parameter design and verification of operating characteristics. Based on the calculation of electromagnetic parameters, Maxwell finite element analysis(FEA) tool is used to establish a 2D FEA model of an integrated linear PMSM for household electric vehicles(EV). Compare the FEA results with the electromagnetic calculation results and the electromagnetic properties of the motor are verified. Performance indicators meet design requirements. We need to further verify the reliability and accuracy of the electromagnetic parameter design scheme, so the thesis also uses the designed electromagnetic parameters to establish a motor model in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and realizes the motor control by vector control method. Finally, combined with the main circuit and control method in the simulation model, the thesis discusses the working condition and conduct an integrated design of the motor with its control system and the power supply system, and sort out the final mechatronics design plan. |
