Abstract: | Although computers have become an indispensable tool in today's complex and specialized world, business continue to rely on the human expert's ability to identify and synthesize diverse factors, form judgments, evaluate alternatives and make decisions. This is particularly true in cases where domains are not easily amendable to precise scientific formulations. This study is to develop an advisory expert system which resemble the ways of an investment advisor's knowledge on bank products, recognize and identify the customer's needs and design an appropriate products match with their needs. The process involves identification of customer's goal, factors in the facts of their financial lives and the assessment of their risk. The proposed system can be helpful to potential customer as a decision aid for making better interactive investment decisions on portfolio allocation. Also, it can relieve the bank's burden on relying skilled and expertise investment staff. |
