dc.title | How can Hong Kong exporters develop a good relationship with their customers in foreign markets? | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | It is generally believed that variables like management attitudes, duration of relationship and the company size are important conditions facilitating companies' relationship development with its customers. Unfortunately, little attention has been paid to developing an understanding of how these conditions can also apply in the Hong Kong context. In order to fill this information gap, the research reported here uses the above-mentioned conditions to explore how Hong Kong exporters develop, promote and sustain the relationships with their overseas customers. It includes a comprehensive set of explanatory variables and evaluates the reliability and validity of these measures. Research hypotheses are tested by data generated from a mail survey and its empirical results support some of the hypotheses. The findings are used to generate a number of managerial implications in the context of export marketing strategy. | en_US |
