dcterms.abstract | E-learning becomes more and more important to educational organizations and enterprise trainings. However, lack of high quality contents is a major issue of those. Professional contents are not only expensive, but also not specific to E-learning environment. Monitoring the on-line behaviors of distance learning students is another challenge of online learning, because there still have no effective way to gather feedback from the participants [4]. In this paper, we will propose architecture for the implementation of converting existing discussion contents to standard E-learning package. The converting process is separated into different steps and involved different standard like Docbook and SCORM 2004. We will then run a few case studies to show how SCORM contribute to monitor discussion forums and gather students' feedback in higher level summary report. Finally, we will evaluate if the architecture may help tutors/trainers to find out the behaviors and provide them with better support. We will also explore is there any limitation or issue of current approach, and propose further enhancement. | en_US |
