Development of semi-structured document classification systemen_US
This paper introduces a structured vector space classification system, which can automatically classify semi-structured documents into some predefined categories. This system is distinguished by taking into accounts the structural information typically found in semi-structured document. Traditional classifiers perform well on flat text or non-structured documents, since they view documents as an n-dimensional vectors of terms. This semi-structured document classifier concentrates on the structure of the documents, it views documents not only the terms but also the structure information. Moreover, this classifier performs significantly better on pre-defined samples obtained from the web than the traditional classifier.en_US
