Critical success factors of ERP system adoption were identified in numerous researches but their relative importance was not known. The available information is helpful in guiding project planning and execution but very often an organization can not follow the recommendation closely due to various resource constrains. How does this inadequacy affect the overall outcome? Should the organization select another strategic alternative? If not, which area(s) can be enhanced to compensate? It is the purpose of this research to derive a model, which can predict the potential successfulness of an ERP system adoption project based on the degree of presence of the various identified CSF.
