dc.title | Adaptive interference cancellation schemes for wideband CDMA system | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | Adaptive multiuser detector using least mean squared algorithm (LMS) for direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) CDMA system with Rayleigh fading has been studied. Minimum mean square error (MMSE) receiver is the important concept behind this adaptive detector, which is computationally, based multiuser detection algorithm. This type of receiver can effectively cancel multiuser interference, hence improving the bit-error probability performance in detection. This detector is of interest as it can be implemented without explicit knowledge of the interferers' signal waveform, timing and energy, and also can be implemented adaptively. Performance analysis of the MMSE and adaptive LMS detectors was performed, which can serve as the foundation for the more advanced detectors like blind detection in the further investigation. | en_US |
