dc.title | Footprint parameters of the young adult and the growing age group | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | An examination of the footprint offers the possibility of an indirect statement about the medial longitudinal arch (MLA), which has been used by a number of previous investigators. Significant correlation between the arch height and footprint parameters is reported. 287 footprints were acquired by the Harris and Beath technique and scanned into digital images for calculating different footprint parameters. Mean value of each parameter were calculated for each age group. The correlation of the footprint parameters were calculated. The distributions of arch index, footprint index and footprint angle in adult and growing age group (age 6 to age 12) are compared by using the similar approach. | en_US |
