dcterms.abstract | In this dissertation, the integration of GPS and accelerometer, and the integration of GPS and tiltmeter will be introduced. The objective is to find whether the integrations can improve the precision of GPS and how to achieve it. The GPS and accelerometer both are widely used for deformation monitoring of high-rise buildings caused by winds. The precision of GPS (RTK) is low, whereas the precision of the accelerometer is high although it can't directly reflect the displacement. At the same time, the vertical precision of GPS is very low, whereas the precision of tiltmeter is high although it just reflects relative elevation difference after transition. Therefore, the concept of integration is generated. The integration is based on the Kalman filter. The calculation is carried out in MATLAB. For the integration of GPS and accelerometer, four models are established, each of which has its own significance and consists of different parameters. Then simulation experiment and outdoor experiment are carried out, the simulation experiment gives us some results and experiential instruction, and outdoor experiment proves whether the results are right. For the integration of GPS and tiltmeter, because the tiltmeter is broken, only one model is established, and a simple experiment is designed and implemented. The attempt of this work is initially finding whether the integration is helpful. In finally, the results shows that the both integrations are helpful but restriction and insufficiency also exist. | en_US |
