Rapid changes of the external and internal environments, inclusive of the competitive pressures in all industries coupled with the pace of the technological change and the increasing importance of customer satisfaction would create a competitive challenge to all companies for their continued survival and prosperity, which depends on their ability to implement re-engineering positively. In this project, a research study for the Carrier Service Division of Carrier Hong Kong Limited will be conducted to analyze how the forces from the environment accelerate the need of re-engineering. The famous Likert's systems will be applied as the methodology to develop questionnaires for this project. Through the survey by conducting structured interviews with staff, the problems in the organization will be assessed. Finally an effective and comprehensive re-engineering process and a strategic plan will be recommended for the Carrier Service Division.en_US
