| Abstract: | This case study investigates the share repurchase behavior of a Hong Kong listed company, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, and evaluates its repurchase effectiveness and performance. This study uses the bootstrapping analysis, EPS improvement and objective as evaluation criteria to measure the share repurchase decision. The results support that both the EPS model and the EVA model can improve the performance of the company's repurchase decision. |
