dcterms.abstractFaced with the increasing competition, many hotels in Shanghai make great efforts to reduce operation cost and develop market. The findings of the study indicate that most hoteliers are considering outsourcing so as to improve the competency of hotels. The study is to conceptually and empirically determine the underlying factors affecting hotel decision makers carrying out outsourcing in Shanghai hotel industry through factor analysis, ANOVA, t-test, etc. The paper concludes with recommendations to hoteliers who are going to carry out outsourcing.en_US
